AF35LVE: Offering Up Tower Solutions

AF35LVE is a two-component, low viscosity epoxy designed for deep embedment of anchor rods in large diameter holes due to its zero shrinkage and longer working times. AF35LVE has a thixotropic gel-like consistency, and it flows when under pressure and gels once injection stops.

How AF35LVE Helped

For the anchor rod installation, a customer was using a grout type chemical anchor to secure the rods but was having issues getting the grout chemical anchor to fill down into the hole properly.

Since the grout type epoxy wouldn’t fill the hole, the anchor studs would not have been installed correctly – resulting in poor pull tests.

Noticing the issue one of our representatives offered a solution to the problem – AF35LVE. Because it flows in a gel-like consistency, AF35LVE was able to properly fill the hole with epoxy to set the anchor rods.
