For use in the telecommunications industry, our tower bolts range from the NexGen2™ Blind Bolt Assembly, U-Bolts, J-Bolts, Step Bolt Adapters and Structural Bolts. Applications range from one-sided installation of structural bolts to no-weld installation processes for tower modifications.
Our tower bolts are designed specifically for cell towers, power transmission towers, radio tower assemblies and other structural steel applications, whether they are applied to modifications, upgrades, or repairs. Designed to be corrosion resistant, some bolts can require more steps to increase their chances at resistance.
After the installation of the NexGen2™ Blind Bolt Assembly the bolt heads are exposed to the elements. The bolts are magni coated – helping them to be corrosion resistant, but to enhance the bolts corrosion resistance take some AF1000 and lightly coat the exposed bolt head.
AF1000 is a cold galvanizing compound that can be brushed on to repair and replace hot-dip galvanizing – a known corrosion resistant method of protecting metal. By coating the exposed bolt head, the bolt becomes more corrosion resistant – giving your tower a longer life span.
