Premium Lag Screws

Sometimes referred as a lag bolt, the heavy-duty lag screw has coarse threads for gripping into wood. Its hex head often has a length of unthreaded shank beneath it, which gives extra strength for tightening. Lag screws are typically installed with a socket or impact wrench. Ideal for high load situations like decking, timber retaining walls and overhead garage doors, lag screws often require a pre-drilled hole to ease installation.
