Why Am I Being Charged A Surcharge?
Due to recently shipping changes Allfasteners is issuing a $50 minimum on all online orders, before tax. With this any order with a subtotal of less than $50.00 will automatically be issued a surcharge to bring their order subtotal to $50.00.
What Is A Surcharge?
A payment card surcharge, also known as a checkout fee, is an additional fee that a merchant adds to a consumer’s bill when due to one of the following reasons:
- He or She is using a credit card that has a surcharge associated with their credit provider.
- There is a minimum order total.
