Pull Testing Services

Allfasteners has pull testing services to suit any project. Pull tests ensure quality assurance, structural integrity, safety assurance, compliance, and risk reduction. You can rent or buy the tools needed to do the pull test or you can have an experienced AF representative come to the site and perform a pull test.

Onsite pull tests are designed to find the resistance of the base materials you are working with – so you can determine the right anchor for your project. Whether the material is concrete, terracotta, hollow brick or any other substrate pull tests are the best way to test your anchors to failure.

There are two ways to conduct a pull test:

  1. Have Allfasteners conduct a pull test:
    • We can come to the site with the recommended anchors, supplies, and tools to conduct a pull test
    • They can be conducted either during construction or after
    • We have been conducting pull tests for decades
    • Our representatives are honest and clear with advice to help you get your project done safely
  2. Purchase the tools necessary to do it yourself:
    • If you just need the tools to conduct your own pull test, check out our Hydrajaws product line of pull testers and accessories
    • Hydrajaws has developed portable tension testers to check for the crucial holding force of anchors and other fixtures in construction materials
    • We have products for medium-duty to heavy-duty

Pull tests are essential for ensuring the design is safe and up to quality standards. They are a proactive measure that helps prevent failures, comply with regulations, and reduce risks associated with load-bearing components. Properly conducted pull tests provide valuable data that can inform design decisions, maintenance schedules, and safety practices. Whether you need the tools to do it yourself or request one of our representatives to come to your site, Allfasteners can help your team!
