Fender Washer 18-8 Stainless Steel
A fender washer is a flat washer with a larger outer diameter in proportion to its center hole. They are made from a thinner gauge metal than most flat washers and are designed to spread the load on thin sheet metal. Interestingly, they are named after their use on automobile fenders. Often used in sheet metal, plumbing, and electrical work. Grade 18-8 stainless steel.

Material Specifications
Steel Material - Washers shall be punched from hot-rolled and pickled or cold-rolled steel, or shall be machined from bar stock or tubing, or may be forged at the manufacturer's option. Fender washers are usually provided zinc plated.
Stainless Material - 18-8 or 316 Stainless Steel. Parts are usually supplied with no additional finish.
